The Fifth and final Annual Jerry Stautberg Memorial Car Show was a complete success with a beautiful day and over 200 cars in attendance. If you attended, you were able to experience some great cars, great music, great food, great raffles, and an outstanding Bid-n-Buy area with some great offerings.
We want to thank all of the sponsors, friends, and fans who have supported the show for the past 5 years. We could not have done it without you. Thanks to you, there will continue to be a Jerry Stautberg Memorial Scholarship at Elder High School that will provide an opportunity for some students to attend this school which otherwise would be beyond their reach. A special thanks to all of the volunteers that have shown up each year and made this such a special experience. We receive a lot of compliments on our show and how comfortable everyone feels when they are with us. That is due to all of the family and volunteers that help make it all possible.
We want to let everyone know that although the Jerry Stautberg Memorial Car Show will not be here next year, there will be a car show on the first Sunday in May. We have turned the reins over to a civic organization that does charitable work in the Western Hills area. So be sure to keep an eye out for their show at Harvest Home Park.
There was an excellent article about Jerry that appeared in the Pride magazine, a publication of Elder High School. Click anywhere in this paragraph to view the article.
